IT Operations Analyst

Operations Services act as internal consultants and relationship managers to our internal clients around the firm to assist in providing outstanding service and operational excellence. This global team of ~100 drive impact through defining strategy and operational excellence; innovating, building, and deploying digital tools and infrastructure; delivering expertise and operating model transformation; and enabling our local teams to maximize their effectiveness.
We are currently progressing an ambitious, multi-year change agenda to drive impact and scale, while improving the employee experience and mitigating risk for our increasingly complex customer base around the firm. Our Operations Services Leadership Team (OSLT) consists of an MDP and 5 Global Directors / Sr. Directors, each responsible for a functional area and leading a team spread across the world. Within Operations Services, the Operations Services Excellence Team (OSXT) supports and leads large complex strategic change programs for Operations Services in close partnership with the OSLT and delivers the digital product infrastructure and innovation to enable this change. The Operations Services Digital Products Tribe Leader reports to the Director of the OSXT.

As an IT Operations Analyst, you will help to support our Safety, Security, Sustainability and Global Travel squad where you will work as a Squad Member with a primary focus on Safety & Security related systems. The squad member will work on assignments including configuring/customizing SaaS applications, system integrations, complex data analysis projects that can be multi-disciplinary or interdepartmental. They will work with a variety of tools (ex: SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, etc.) to access data, run reports, manipulate data, and analyze datasets to meet the needs of the stakeholders. Support business stakeholders to elicit business and non-functional requirements, own and understand the data models, perform gap analysis and feasibility checks, write clear and comprehensive end-user documentation, configure changes, and work with other team members to develop and execute comprehensive test plans. You will also support end-user issues and questions and troubleshoot. 


Actively monitoring and resolving issues with a sense of urgency, proactively communicating to keep key stakeholders and management team informed 
Proactively identifying and independently solving most non-routine problems by applying broad knowledge, troubleshooting system issues as they arise 
Understanding and translating business needs into written agile user stories for the squad to progress
Gaining a detailed understanding of multiple digital products and their features to serve as a subject matter expert for the squad
Understand IT landscape and architecture to allow for the extraction of data with the understanding of how that data interacts across the business systems
Extract and organize data in a way that can be quickly utilized by other members of the team and/or by the business, increasing their ability to make clear and quick decisions
Collaborates with other analytic teams and central engineering team as directed 
Working independently with minimal day to day guidance, prioritizing your time and communicating clearly at all levels of the organization
Lead or assist in completing tasks to implement, enhance and monitor health of our Operations systems based on the needs of the business.
Defining and executing multiple tasks or more complex tasks with timely, high-quality results
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality of applications prior to deployment. 
Applying Agile product delivery methodologies and principles, including work estimation techniques
Learning new tools and technologies with a high degree of technical competence
Working with multicultural distributed teams located in different time zones and have the capacity to work on multiple projects concurrently.


Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, required. Major in Technology or Business or related field encouraged
Basic understanding of the database, data models and ability to handle complex data sets 
Hands on experience with the Data visualization tools (such as Tableau) to be able to develop, update and maintain the dashboards, as needed
Proficiency in writing requirements in both agile user story and traditional formats, creating end-user documentation, and showcasing (demoing) work in process to clients
Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in a role supporting digital products, preferably in an analyst role
Experience working with cloud-based digital products including a basic understanding of product configurations, databases, and data visualization techniques.
Proficiency in speaking, writing, reading, and presenting in English is required
Must be open for flexible working as per business needs.
