Experienced Line Cooks
Reports to: Chef/General Manager/Managers/Supervisors
Primary Responsibilities:
Arrive at work on time and in proper uniform, prepared to execute exceptional shifts.
Exemplify AHG s Mission and Core Values in every interaction, every shift
Perform the daily functions for line positions as required, prepping, line set up, 100 percent recipe adherence, proper plating procedures, ensuring food quality standards per Health department requirements, and daily cleaning duties as assigned. Line positions and responsibilities are as listed but not limited to the following
Pantry/Fry:
Prep and set up of menu item ingredients to Stanford s recipes, plate presentations and specifications
Proper use of checklists for setting up and closing down of line
Usage of Prep lists and all required tools for recipes
Stocking and restocking of line as business dictates
Serves hot food hot and cold food cold
Ability to work on several different orders simultaneously.
Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
Sautee/Broiler

Further Responsibilities
Maintain energy and enthusiasm throughout shift.
Complete assigned opening, ongoing, and closing sidework.
Works with a sense of urgency. Monitors ticket times and works with Team Members to ensure food preparation activities are executed in a timely fashion.
Maintain a safe, sanitary, and secure environment at all times.
Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects.
Notify direct supervisor of all guest complaints.
Qualification Standards
Aptitude for multi-tasking
Knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods.
Communication and organizational skills
Capable of using knives, slicing equipment and other food preparation equipment
Ability to operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, broilers, flat tops, saut grills, ovens, industrial mixers and dishwashers
Physical Requirements
Able to move safely and with urgency in close proximity to others
Ability to lift and carry or otherwise move 25-60 pounds regularly/occasionally.
Agility to wipe down counters, prep tables and all cooking surfaces and to sweep and pick up debris off the floor in all areas of the restaurant.
Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, and exert a well-paced mobility for periods up to 8 hours in length.
