The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lecturer or Educator to join us on a 45.6 hours per fortnight, working office hours on a 3 day per week basis. Based in Seven Hills, this role will support our Nurses at our Service Delivery Centre’s and in the community. 

Key responsibilities

As part of our team you will develop and facilitate professional development programs for our Palliative Care Nurses to increase their capabilities. You will work with other disciplines that support clients receiving palliative services to provided support and their capabilities in the palliative approach.

Use your clinical experience and holistic approach to review skills across the team and organisational processes. Identify gaps, make recommendations for improvement and provide mentoring, including buddy shifts out on the road. Share your knowledge & support the team through change to achieve and maintain quality clinical practice and standards, whilst ensuring our clients’ needs are met.

About you

Experienced Palliative Care Nurse with a current AHPRA registration is an essential component for this role
Demonstrable experience as a Lecturer or Educator, with the ability to build and develop skills in a team
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to think outside the box whilst considering the entire picture
Have post graduate qualifications in palliative care or working towards

Based on Silver Chain Group Policy and State Government Directions, you will be required to provide evidence of your COVID-19 vaccinations, including booster requirements, or evidence of a medical exemption, to be considered for employment with Silver Chain.
