About the Hunter Region

The Hunter Region is known for its easy access to local beaches and wineries and is an idyllic place to live, work and play. This region includes Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Cessnock and Maitland.

About the role

You will build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and tenants to ensure that business objectives are met, and expectations are exceeded. You will successfully achieve this by:

Positioning and protecting the investment performance of assigned property assets, ensuring profitability through diligent and professional management.
Liaising regularly with clients regarding all aspects of management, including providing recommendations to the client conducting the negotiations relating to rent reviews, lease renewals and leasing along with other tenant negotiations.
Undertaking frequent inspections in order to oversee the presentation and maintenance of the property assets, ensuring high standards of appearance at all times.
Facilitating resources, both in-house and outsourced, promoting an overall team effort to maintain services and resolve property issues.
Implementing and maintaining orderly lease administration, financial management procedures and overall reporting.
Ensuring all lease and other documentation is fully executed and in place.
Technical operations experts, admin, facilities managers and experts from the broader NSW business.

You will be self-motivated, pro-active who can work well autonomously as well as having a desire to collaborate and add value to both the client and the wider Real Estate Management Services team with. Along with:

Class 1 real Estate Licence
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in either commercial or residential property management.
Working knowledge of budgeting, processes, and trust accounts.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
