We’re looking for a trade qualified Motor Assessor to accurately assess vehicle damage to determine cost-effective and safe repairs while ensuring the best outcome for the customer and balancing the needs of the business. To achieve this, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with repairers, parts suppliers and other industry bodies as well as internal stakeholders within the business.
What you’ll do:
Negotiation with mechanics, panel and non-aligned repairers to determine most appropriate repair method, cost and quality outcomes.
On road and desktop assessment of vehicles
Conducting on-road Third Party or non-aligned repairer assessments and negotiating as required
Management of any quality issues and lifetime guarantee claims
Successfully managing and resolving any customer escalations in a timely manner.
Conducting random repair quality and estimate audits
Ensuring that all customer interactions are professional and constructive
Working with the Assessing Coordinator team to effectively schedule daily appointments with repairers and customers
What you’ll bring:
Trade qualified panel beater/ spray painter
Experience in quote writing
Exceptional customer service delivery
A current and unrestricted drivers’ licence
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Be computer literate
Ability to plan and organise your time
Demonstrate your analytical and problem-solving skills
