About the Role
Be a part of the Merlin magic by joining us as a Food & Beverage Attendant(Part Time Permanent) at LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre, Melbourne.
As a F&B Attendantat LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre, Melbourne, your primary responsibility will beto deliver exceptional customer service, upselling, take orders, operate thetill and make coffee – all while delivering a fantastic and memorableexperience for our guests.
Maximize sales opportunities through upselling and informing guests of add on’s
Stock management and order receiving/replenishment
Maintaining site presentation in line with specified cleaning duties and routines
Making beverages (including coffee) where possible
Preparing food preparation, fresh grab & go food products
Hosting birthday parties
Please note: We are hiring for part-time roles, working around 20 hours a week and Causalroles working ad hoc with potential to go part time for the right person. Weekendavailability is required, and flexibility around working hours, weekends andpublic holidays is essential due to our very unique business. You will be required work weekends.
The idealcandidate for this role will have a passion for guest experience with a focuson fun. They will be proactive in their approach to customer service with apositive attitude towards interaction with our guests and upselling techniquesserving meals, making tea/coffee, cleaning, stock takes, rotation of stockdates.
Previous experience in asimilar role is a plus, but a desire to work in the entertainments industry isessential. Candidates with previous experience in food hygiene standards,previously worked as a barista, and experience prepping sandwiches and saladswhilst not essential will be looked at favorably.
In addition, you are astrong communicator and are able to build rapport across the business. Yourability to have a flexible and adaptable approach along with demonstratedplanning, organizational and time management skills are desired.
Holding a currently a(VIC) Working with Children’s Check (or willing to obtain one if successful) isalso required for this role.
