As a People & Culture (P&C) Manager you will be responsible for delivering strategic Business Unit and Enterprise-wide people programs and initiatives that are aligned with the Optus strategy and objectives. We're seeking a creative problem solver who can work across a multitude of HR specialities, (in consultation with the specialists in those areas) business areas and many and varied shades of grey.

You will work well with ambiguity and complexity with a change management approach and operate with a sophisticated level of virtual leadership.

Additionally, you will partner with P&C peers and senior business leaders to understand business needs and deliver value adding HR solutions to people related challenges and opportunities. The role requires your ability to form relationships quickly, establish executive presence with senior leaders, apply critical thinking, and create and implement beneficial solutions across the full range of HR initiatives which underpin the Optus HR Strategy.

Key ingredients for success ...

Tertiary qualified in a Human Resources, Psychology, or Business field;
Natural leadership skills, plus default ability to engage with people at all levels of business and to adjust your style to suit any audience;
Significant senior HRBP experience (min 7 years) working in a dynamic corporate environment with innovative and modern HR practices;
Deep and broad knowledge of HR processes gained in a dynamic global organisation;
Advanced commercial acumen, organisational and presentation skills; &
Ability to understand and clarify customer needs and provide solutions that add tangible value resulting in continuous improvements across the business.
