The primary purpose of the Contract Manager role is to run and complete all the contractual and commercial tasks for assigned strategic Networks contracts and vendors which have been identified based on value, risk and strategic importance.

Key to your success will be ensuring both Optus and the vendors deliver on contractual obligations, and you will be a key escalation point within Optus for all commercial / contractual issues related to the assigned strategic contracts.

Additionally, you will deliver an overarching strategic view of the vendor relationship and fit with the longer term objectives of the Networks Business Unit.

Your skills & background

Degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering or Law, or equivalent proven work experience;
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Telecommunications / Construction Contract Management;
Strong IT literacy and passion for problem-solving and negotiation;
Ability to Interpret contractual requirements across different construction and maintenance contracts;
Proficiency in MS Office suite of programs with strong financial competence;
Proven understanding of activities related to telecommunications deployment, maintenance and support contracts; &
Ability to interact with Senior Leaders with outstanding presentation skills.
