Purpose of the Role
Reporting to the Application Support Team Lead, this role undertakes application administration for NSWEC’s business systems, including technical support and maintenance. These systems include complex business critical in-house developed systems used for managing election-related processes; SaaS applications on MS Azure and SharePoint platforms and commercially available enterprise systems such as HP Content Manager (TRIM), HP ALM, JIRA/Confluence, and others.
This role will be required to communicate with users, vendors and other colleagues from technical and non-technical background to troubleshoot and offer expertise in application support.
Due to the cyclical nature of our agency’s operations, after hours support roster will be required during peak periods.
The role is full time ongoing.

As the successful candidate, you will have:
ITIL V3 or V4 certification or equivalent skills and experience
Experience managing and providing Level 2/3 systems administration support across a broad range of complex business systems
Demonstrated recent experience in MS SQL Server and/or Oracle databases as well as IIS.
Experience using Azure technologies is highly desirable.
High level verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear and concise system support documentation and technical documentation
Politically neutral with no affiliation to political parties or lobbyists/campaigners.
