Pega Application Support

We are looking forward for a Pega Application Support to join our growing team with an opportunity to work with multiple projects to be based in Sydney. Overview In this role, you will provide IT support/development related to the Link group Pega applications and interfaces both on-prem and cloud. This includes diagnosis, resolution, root cause analysis of issues and identify and document problem workarounds. You will also ensure service requests are appropriately actioned according to service levels and performance targets. You will provide technical support to core business application environments to ensure 24x7 availability. Key Accountabilities and Main Responsibilities
Ability to develop tactical solutions to minimize production outages/issues.
Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership to user reported issues and ability to work independently with minimum direct supervision
Primarily work on production support and perform development tasks on need basis
Provide application support to business users through problem solving 
Investigating and resolving technical issues related to IT application systems
Work with business users and IT colleagues to ensure timely resolutions are provided to identified issues
Completion of regular tasks to support team SLAs
Support Pega production environments
Develop and Maintain Documentation related to Standard Operations Procedures
Provide effective support and minimise downtime to the business by liaising with developers, back end support, database administrators and vendors
Collaborate with other team members to improve the overall performance delivered to customers
Participate in after hours and weekend support
Get involved & take responsibility in requirement gathering/understanding, development, debugging and maintenance of projects
We’re looking for people with:
A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Pega platform Must have experience with SOAP Web Services and REST APIs/Services
Must have experience with issue tracking tools JIRA and Service Now
Must have knowledge of version control tools like SVN/CVS
High level of problem solving skills to handle complex software and interface support issues
Sound knowledge of MS Office Products
Good documentation skills
Effective oral and written communications skills to work effectively in an onshore/offshore model
Experience in both Development and Support environment in Agile and Scrum Methodology
Ability to work on call after hours and weekend in a rostered 24x7 environment.
Analytical and Systematic approach to work
Must have BFSI domain knowledge
Good understanding of the capabilities of Middleware integration product stack, BPM processing and using the components appropriately for the implementation
Be proficient/expert in Enterprise Application and BPM technologies/concepts
Ability to identify critical & high priority issues and escalate & resolve
