About the role
Reporting to the Head of People. The role leads the delivery of HR services and advice across our corporate business units through a small team of HR Advisors and HR administration. With a strong focus on ensuring our HR Lifecyle for the corporate businesses is executed to a high standard as well as improving our HR systems and processes for the broader business, this role is a great mix of business partnering and HR operations management.
We are seeking a candidate who will have exceptional communication and influencing skills, coupled with strong customer service focus and who thrives on a continuous improvement philosophy. The successful candidate will have the ability to ensure we are innovative and agile in our approach to HR service delivery and leverage the capacity of our HR systems to drive insight into our people.
Support continuous improvement of HR operations and the effective delivery of core HR functions and processes
Review, plan and manage improvement in the operational aspects of the employment lifecycle
Support, performance review, remuneration review and succession planning, contributing to the development of HR metrics, HR systems and processes
Develop and implement career pathways and development needs, enhancing organisational capability
Contribute to the implementation and delivery of strategic HR initiatives
Provide expert advice and support to staff and stakeholders on matters relating to the employment lifecycle
Support the development and capabilities of the HR team
Be a champion for Our Principles and promote employee engagement and positive workforce culture through a range of initiatives in our employee engagement and corporate sustainability programs.
Lead by example in the execution of safe work practices and ensure compliance with OHS&E statutory requirements
Experience, skills and qualifications
Tertiary qualifications in HR/IR or relevant discipline.
minimum of 7 years’ experience in Human Resources delivery
Strong customer service ethos to delivery of HR solutions
Strong understanding of HR systems and technology
Strong attention to detail and track record maintaining accurate data and preparing reporting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate messages to all levels of the business
Experience in Oracle HCM highly regarded
Superior computer literacy in MS Office suite
Well-developed planning and project management skills and demonstrated ability to plan and manage workloads.
