Job Title: Analyst
Blackstone’s Real Estate Private Equity Group offers their professionals the chance to work in all aspects of real estate investing and can expect to be staffed on multiple transactions at one time. Analysts are involved with the development, structuring and financing of transactions and regularly attend both external and internal meetings, negotiations and due diligence sessions.
Assist Blackstone’s real estate team in evaluating new investment opportunities as well as operational management of Blackstone’s existing real estate portfolio in Australia and New Zealand (“ANZ”).
Assist Portfolio Management in asset reviews, hold/sell decisions, fund models and quarterly fund valuations.
Develop and maintain relationships with external asset managers to ensure maximum investment returns on assets in the portfolio.
Assist in commercial aspects of fund administration, equity draws, investor relations, fundraising and reporting.
Evaluate and execute real estate investments in ANZ, including financial modelling of prospective investment opportunities across a range of real estate sectors.
Perform in-depth market research for prospective real estate investments in ANZ.
Perform extensive due diligence on acquisition opportunities, including travelling to the properties, meeting with management, coordinating with various advisors, and formulating the investment strategies and business plans.
Prepare written analyses and evaluations of investment opportunities for Blackstone’s Real Estate Private Equity Group’s investment committee.
