Finance Reporting Analyst

As a Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of financial reports and Dashboards and for maintaining the system data necessary. You will be working with our primary customers who are the broader finance team and the Executive who will rely on the reports to make business decisions.
You will work closely with the upper management with analysis and advice regarding how to most effectively utilize the company’s financial resources to increase profitability and grow the company at an optimal rate while minimizing financial risk.
You are a collaborator and will work with the greater team to develop tailored solutions, prepare budgets, and consolidate them into one corporate budget.
You will develop automated quality assurance checks to make sure that financial data reconciles across different databases. You will be responsible for the maintenance of our internal system, GL accounts, cost centres, and similar in partnership with the Systems Accountant.
You have great attention to detail and will work on examining and evaluating the cost-efficiency of each department of the company considering what percentage of the company’s financial resources each department consumes.
Key Criteria:

Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or Business
CPA Professional with minimum 5 years of relevant finance or accounting experience, the manufacturing, or mining industry
Experience with multiple computer systems, including MS Office
Ability to analyse financial statements and prepare financial ratios
Proven experience in reporting, business intelligence, or data analysis
This role will be based in Brisbane/ Newcastle.
