A little bit about the role
The role of the Broker Development Manager (BDM) supports thestate of VIC and is to be the first point of contact for a portfolio of brokersto generate Home Loan growth. The BDM is responsible for developing andexecuting a structured call plan to build excellent B2B relationships with thebrokers in your portfolio. You will also be the primary account contactfor the aggregator with a core focus on growing market share. 
You will build awareness of the Banks products and services, applicationprocess, credit policy and service proposition through regular contact and theongoing training of brokers, ensuring the Bank is well represented and promotedat State Based Development events and regular calling strategy to regional brokersto help extend our reach to more customers to enable our purpose – helping allAustralians to own their own home.
A little bit about you
-A career Banker with extensive experience in banking/financial services
-Previous relevant experience in a similar role in the industry, with strongbroker and aggregator networks
-Experience in all aspects of the residential home loans, with a strongunderstanding of credit assessment and customer scenarios
-Demonstrated success in implementing structured call plans that deliver growth
-Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance or Banking-related subjects(desirable)
