This new position is within our new ViacomCBS International streaming team based in Sydney.


The streaming Marketing team is looking for an Integrated Media Manager with extensive cross-channel planning experience. Your focus will be on owning the media planning budget and the planning of specific media campaigns, working along with external agency partners and internal performance marketing teams. You will drive and execute innovative and effective media strategies across a robust mix of channels including, but not limited to, television, print, digital, mobile and out-of-home to drive awareness and viewership of our streaming service. You will be responsible for managing media agencies and other partners in order to achieve our marketing and media objectives. You will work to establish and implement media best practices, create rigorous analytical processes and implement cost-effective advertising. The successful candidate will also draw upon strong project management skills to ensure flawless execution of campaigns.

We are looking for someone who is highly organized and comfortable working in a fast-moving, dynamic environment. Strong candidates must have the ability to work autonomously, have excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to influence others. This role works owns writing media briefs and translate them into best-in-class media plans.


Drive top of the funnel metrics, and audience acquisition and growth strategies.
Work with the International team around the development of the media planning and budget.
Managing third party agencies to successfully face demands and goals we can’t support with internal team members.
Own and present to leadership key performance metrics around customer acquisition, cost per new customer, etc.


Set goals and KPIs and devise strategies through which to achieve them while implementing measurement plans
Work with agencies to develop creative, effective and holistic paid media strategies and tactics
Manage budgets and timelines for media campaigns
Prepare performance reports that monitor and analyze key media metrics, quality, and campaign performance.
Oversee post-buy audit and optimization efforts to ensure the integrity and efficiency of the media plans.
Interface directly with networks, affiliates and partners to develop new advertising programs, secure premium media, and increase efficiency.
Seek and evaluate strategic media opportunities and serve as a thought-leader on new and innovative ways to reach and connect with our customer.
Monitor and analyze competitive media and marketing strategies.
Set goals and KPIs and devise strategies through which to achieve them while implementing measurement plans
Work to develop and present recommendations, evaluations, POVs and media analyses to relevant stakeholder(s)

Minimum 5 years’ experience in direct-to-consumer media marketing, with proven success achieving goals
Experience leading media planning and strategy for a consumer brand
Media agency experience or in-house agency experience, must have a strong handle on the Australian paid media landscape
Experience in media and subscription would be a plus. Capacity to collaborate with different areas involved in the growth initiatives
Capacity to coordinate with International, and with different teams preferred.
Ability and flexibility to adapt to changes in schedules and delivery. Understanding of overall cross-platform attribution.
Excellent data analysis skills, analytical mind and curious/entrepreneurial mindset.
Intense bias for action in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment
Excellent proficiency in verbal and written communication in English.
Excellent interpersonal skills, entrepreneurial mindset and resilient spirit with experience navigating cross-functional organizations


Knowledge in TV Content.
Consumer of entertainment content and interest in it.
Entertainment media market experience.
Capability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.


BS/BA in related field preferred.
Master’s degree in a related field is a bonus
