The Opportunity

Strong client growth has created a fantastic permanent full-time opportunity for a Financial Adviser to join our successful Financial Planning team in a flexible advice role servicing a diverse client base.

This role will provide strategic financial planning and investment advice to a sustainable and profitable portfolio of existing regional clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for building strong client relationships while generating revenue growth through client and internal referral, as well as their own network.

The role will involve monthly travel to meet with clients and colleagues in our regional offices including Berri, Loxton and Mildura, while providing a professional ‘homebase’ in our Adelaide office.

The opportunity is supported by a team of professional advisers offering various financial services throughout Australia, including lending, risk insurance, accounting and tax.

Key deliverables will include:

Collaborating and communicating with clients to understand their financial objectives
Providing strategic financial planning and investment advice including asset allocation, investment structures, estate planning, superannuation and retirement planning. 
Servicing, retaining and delivering solutions to meet client needs, developing relationships and prospecting new opportunities through your strong business development expertise 
Achieving annual revenue targets 
Maintaining professional relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
Supervising day-to-day client service advisory activities 

Ok, let’s talk about you, you will have:   

A degree in a relevant/associated field 
Ideally relevant Professional Body Qualified (CFP)
Successfully completed the FASEA exam and are on the adviser register 
A background and experience as an Adviser (minimum 3 years)
A diplomatic, personable and professional approach to your work and your colleagues 
A positive, proactive and result orientated focus 
A collaborative leadership approach and be a valuable team player 
The ability to maintain confidentiality at all times 
Exceptional relationship and stakeholder management skills when representing the Findex Group and liaising with internal staff and external providers 
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong commercial acumen 
Strong analytical skills
