High Care Support Workers

Avivo provide support to people with frailty, disability or mental illness to live in their own home. Our Support Workers work alongside people, from all walks of life, giving them a helping hand to live their life.


We are looking for friendly, caring and reliable individuals to be part of a wonderful caring Support Worker team to provide support for our customers to continue living comfortably in their own home.


There are a range of shifts available for this position; early mornings, late nights and overnight supports 7 days a week.   

There's no 'typical day' but it may include....
Domestic assistance/household duties including meal preparation and shopping
Personal care including showering and assist dressing
A range of clinical care & skills require - eg. bowel care, wound care, catheter skills (all training provided)
Manual tasks such as hoisting (training provided)
Providing reliable, timely and flexible services that best meet the needs of the individual and their family
Problem solving issues with the person and/or their family, and the team
Regular communication with local team and participation in team meetings
We aren't going to lie, it can be tricky at times but our team will provide you with the necessary training and support to ensure you are set up for success from the very beginning of your Avivo journey! 


About you:
Previous experience in providing Disability support is preferred
Previous experience in the listed clinical care & skills is desirable however we will provide you with all the training you need to excel in this role
Demonstrated reliability, flexibility and a positive attitude
Current NDIS Worker Screening check or willingness to obtain one - if you require an NDIS Worker Screening Check Avivo will support you through this process and reimburse you for the cost of the clearance
Availability to attend mandatory and paid training during the week 
A valid driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle

An hourly rate starting from $29.12 per hour plus super and afternoon/evening shift loading, weekend penalties and all leave accruals
