We have a great opportunity for 3D Modellers to join us on an exciting new children's animated feature film we're producing! Senior roles start early 2022 with other levels needed in the first and second quarter of the year. Applicants in Australia preferred with remote working, visa and/or relocation available for suitable candidates.
To be successful you will have the following skills:
Experience creating complex character models, props and environments for animated feature film, television or TVC.
Ability to construct organic and hard surface models based on 2D art department reference which are faithful to the style of the production.
A passion for modelling and a good sense of traditional anatomy and proportion;
Excellent technical knowledge of geometry, topology and UV layout techniques;
Solid understanding of Zwrap workflows using a standardised mesh;
Ability to work within a team environment and follow guidance from creative and technical supervisors;
A solid knowledge of rigging and surfacing workflows and ability to work interactively with these departments to resolve issues quickly.
A solid knowledge of digital sculpting in Z-brush and/or Mudbox and be self sufficient in maintaining the workflows between Maya and these packages.
Ability to maintain a consistent level of productivity while meeting deadlines and producing high quality work.
Ability to work independently as well as under direct supervision;
Excellent communication and time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritise as required.
