Payroll Administrator


SUMMARY: Our Client, a world leading provider of transport solutions with sales of trucks, buses, engines & services, is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their team JOB DESCRIPTION: The main responsibility of the Payroll Specialist is to oversee the payroll process and operation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in ensuring that the personnel receives the correct compensation in a timely manner. This is achieved by working collaboratively with the Business Unit HR team through the completion of the sequential payroll, calculating wages based employee HR data working through a payroll software accurately and efficiently.Professional Competencies (Duties and Tasks) Manage the payrollEnsure the accurate and timely running of the organisations payroll through either in-house or outsourced payroll processingGather information and consolidate hours worked for each employeeCalculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses etc. with assistance of a applicable softwareReceive approval from management for payments when neededPrepare and execute pay orders to third party, through an electronic system or distribute paychecksAdminister statements of payment to personnelProcess taxes and payment of employee benefitsKeep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information etc.Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiorsCompile key operational payroll metrics and reportsPrepare periodic payroll reconciliation and submit reports to manager for reviewEnsure the organisation is compliant with relevant legislation regarding payrollAddress improvement suggestion to the payroll process and handling and work with decided improvement activities Improvement work according to the company''s Way (SRS) Understand and act according to the company''s way frame workUnderstand and act according to the company''s way frame workMaintain the normal situation, detect deviations and act immediately to eliminate themContribute in daily follow-up, daily steeringParticipate and contribute in improvements activities based on a standardized working methods General Competencies (in alphabetical order) - Using an understanding of business issues, processes and outcomes to enhance business performance.Information Gathering and Processing - Locating and collecting data from appropriate sources and analysing it to prepare meaningful and concise reports that summarize the information.
