The successful applicant will report to the Head Innovation: Project Management. Purpose of the position The NPD Project manager is required to manage a number of NPD projects, from ideation through development, testing, production, launch and performance tracking to ensure an end-to-end service to the business. Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to: Manage NPD project execution to achieve objectives and quality standards Measure, record and evaluate project performance against the project baselines and outcomes and take corrective action as applicable Identify risks (both current and potential) and mitigate or elevate for resolution Maintain and update project data base regularly Effectively and accurately report and communicate project status, progress, risks, etc. to relevant stakeholders Record and implement project status meeting actions and decisions Provide coordination and support in terms of development and testing of product or components Provide support in terms of first production run as required Provide support in terms of product launch planning (commercialisation) Identify, mitigate and document risks, issues and learnings Co-ordinate with planning for effective PIPO management as per approved plan and KES Conduct formal project reviews for selected projects and agree actions Foster and maintain effective relationships with external and internal stakeholders Identify and establish stakeholder partnerships for project execution Support and drive cross functional collaboration to unlock internal synergies Achieve results through mutually beneficial and trusting relationship with team members, manager, peers and other business units within Distell Lead and pro-actively coach teams around performance and career planning Establish clear patterns of self-development and learning for increased expertise and performance Provide project management support to project teams to ensure successful delivery Drive effective innovation and continuous improvement through effective teamwork, insights, etc. Identify, document and implement lessons learned and share with relevant stakeholders. improve and implement new processes, work methods and systems The successful candidate must have the following experience/qualification: Relevant B-degree and Project Management certification Minimum of 7 years experience Application Process If you are interested and meet all requirements, please register and apply via the Distell Career Portal by logging onto Distell's career website: Reference Number: Closing Date: 19 April Job Segment: Manager, Project Manager, Management, Technology Apply now
