Division Head - Residential Energy

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company. Role responsibilities are: Explore local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunitiesWork closing with and in support of operations with regards to distribution operations, customer service, human resources, administration, sales, and technical supportPrepare forecasts, financial objectives, and business plansOrganize budget and allocate funds appropriatelyProvide training, coaching, development, and motivation to division personnelExplore opportunities of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunitiesProvide consulting to other divisions and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities, and needsExplore customer and employee satisfaction issues and react promptlyEnsure meeting goals and metrics and complying with all regulations/applicable lawsBuild relations to improve the presence and reputation of the division and companyStay informed about situations in competing markets and provide reports on market movement and penetrationDrive the various sales channels within the divisionRole requirements are: Matric/NQF4 minimum Relevant post Matric qualification preferred, e.g. a degree in Business Administration or another related area3-5 years' experience of working in a Managerial role or similar positionExperience with modern management techniques and best practicesGood knowledge of the energy industry's rules and regulationsGood ability to meet sales targets and production goalsStrong organizational skills with a results-driven and customer-focused attitudeGood leadership and people management skillsTechnical competence and experience an advantage (Renewable energy market)Key personal attributes: Self-motivated and self-starter individual able to make decisions and recommendations Challenges the status quo and looks for ways of doing things better and faster Passion for learning and self-improvement and relentless pursuit of excellence Ability to manage own time, work independently, but must also be a team playerProactive with a consistently positive attitude and driven about service delivery Ability to lead, drive and motivate othersIntegrate with the business via regular communication, and establish and maintain effective internal working relationships Ability to manage external stakeholders (business partners, clients, service providers, etc.) Organized and efficient, ability to prioritize tasks, and always punctual Willingness to embrace technology and automate processes Excellent computer skills (including word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet packages Aligned with Rubicon Group's zero-tolerance approach to discrimination of any kind Aligned with Rubicon Group's zero-tolerance approach to corrupt business activities and maintaining the highest ethical standards in our dealings with all stakeholders
