Description Medical Practice Receptionist: An established medical practice in Rondebosch is seeking to employ a vibrant receptionist with at least 1-year relevant experience to commence duties immediately. We are looking for a friendly, energetic and organised professional who enjoys interacting with patients and provides quality service.Key duties include but are not limited to:Client and patient liaison, front office support, typing, administration and marketingCoordinating patient and doctors schedules as well as online file management and office organisation.Previous experience in a similar role with medical receptionist duties is essentialRequirements & Skills:Professional appearance with excellent verbal and written communicationAbility to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressureAccuracy and attention to detail. Compassionate.Fully bilingual in English and AfrikaansMust have good people skills and must be honest andFamiliar with office equipment and activities: scanning documents into the system, i.e. referral letters, medical aid cards, filing, typing, etc.Functions:Schedule appointments for new and recurring patients, assist with bookingsPatient registration, collection, receipting and processing of payments from patients.Submit treatment plans to medical funds, validations of medical aid documentation and confirm authorization for procedMaintain patient confidentialityAssist patients in completing necessary online and paper forManage petty cash, safe keeping and balancing of of cash boxes.Attending to ad hoc duties as directed by the practiceOrdering and managing all stationery, lab consumables and office requirements.Maintaining assets such as computers, accessories,Key RequirementMatric certificate.Computer literacy.
