Esports Graphic Design Team Lead

The Department: The Esports Graphic Design Team Lead would be the leader of our Graphic Design sub-team of Esports Content that sits under the Esports Creative Manager. This team creates our Esports output across commercial and editorial channels through the production of best-in-class, authentic Esports design deliverables and consists of four Designers. These Designers typically will receive briefs from the wider Esports team from Social, Sponsorships/Brand and cover games from FPS and MOBA. Our key markets currently are Europe and Brazil, so this role would involve signing off work for both those territories. This role is mirrored for video/motion production by a Content Production Team Lead, who has a similar purpose to this role but for leading a team of Multimedia Producers across video and motion. Purpose of the Role: This role would be responsible for optimising operational efficiency across our design work, able to work with the Creative Manager to co-ordinate our design talent to appropriate tasks within campaigns, activations and day-to-day content, while also improving the overall quality of output in line with quality criteria set by the Creative Manager and Social & Content Manager within Esports. The role would also be responsible for communicating design status on a regular basis and would require some reporting/evidencing how changes to process have positively resulted in better work and greater efficiency. Duties include, but not limited to: Set weekly agendas for the team based on briefs that have come in from Esports stakeholders. Co-ordinate design resource on activations/campaigns with Social Media Managers, Sponsorship and Brand, making recommendations and decisions based on matching areas of expertise with appropriate tasks Ensure the quality of design work remains high and we build brand consistency into everything we do. Encourage Designers to run workshops with the wider team to help the Social teams with our extensive template library and share knowledge with other design peers. Provide creative solutions and ideas that elevate our editorial design work and inspire the Design team. Report on pipeline statuses of design workstreams on a regular basis. Join sponsored teams calls to help provide a voice of expertise with our sponsored partners and provide tips and advice on executional guidance based on the latest developments with Brand. Maintain production output of the department through innovative workflow solutions. Be responsible for early reviewing of peoples work before going to final sign off from Creative Manager.
