Marketing Communications Manager

Description Our client within the hospitality industry seeks to appoint a dynamic Marketing Communications Manager to Join their team based in Durban. Job Duties Monitor and report accurately and timeously on the implementation of operational plans on a monthly and quarterly basis. Review, Develop and Implement policies and procedures Manage expenditure according to prescribed guidelines Marketing objectives achieved timeously and efficiently Corporate identify managed professionally with effective Public Relations Management Digital content and online domains managed according to standards SEO Management in relation to the effective control the media spend on: YouTube, Google Display, Google Ads & Facebook Network (Facebook, Instagram, Messenger & Audience Network) Copywriting for blogs, webPR & listings. Creative execution from supplied concept to all digital channels. Social content for social feeds and advertising. Campaign strategy & monthly reporting. General Communications Understand deadlines and always strive to meet them Manage and develop General Managers internal and external communications Manage Written communications including the following: o Online presence o Media releases o Handling Media enquiries & relationships o Responsible for generating all digital newsletters Specific Communications Responsibilities o Manage the day-to-day WhatsApp messages Manage and update the Website content as required o Co-ordinate outsourced communications and design functions o Lead complex communications projects. o Act as key media liaison for sensitive and/or complex matters. Ensure where applicable Service Level Agreement are in place and reviewed monthly to ensure remedial actions for poor service delivery Facilitate monthly meetings with service providers. Conduct monthly audits against service delivery requirements. Accurate and timeous reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis. Timeously actioning all items as per stipulated timeframes. Facilitate weekly team meetings and monthly committee meetings. Monitor outcomes of communications in line with the strategy and plan. Measure success during and after plan delivery. Day to day management of communications team. Manage communications team performance development. Provide coaching to communications team as required. Manage allocated communications budget. Ensuring proactive measures of communication are in place in any situations of emergency Job Duties A National Journalism Qualification Bachelors degree (Marketing / Brand Management) Minimum 3 years brand management and marketing experience Experience in the following fields: o Creative / Art Direction o Event management o PR and Communications o Online and web development o Project Management Experience in Graphic Design and knowledge of the following software would be beneficial: Microsoft Office Suite o Photoshop o Illustrator o InDesign o Dreamweaver o After Effects.special-hidden { display: none; }Id Subtitle
