Foh Restaurant Reception Supervisor


Minimum 4 years experience in a Supervisory positionHave experience using Microsoft Office Excel, Word, OutlookMaking bar & restaurant reservations via DineplanEnsure a smooth running of lunch and dinner service Overseeing reservations and assigning tables to groups and table bookings accordingly Answer phones as promptly as possible in a courteous professional mannerEnsure all incoming phone calls, whatsapps and emails for reservations and general booking enquiries are dealt with promptly and accuratelyEnsure all guests requests are dealt with accurately and only the utmost effort is taken to ensure guests receive outstanding serviceAssisting receptionists with seating guests for lunch and dinner service Monthly staff rostering of receptionists and hostesses Managing functions and events including creating quotes for events hosted in the restaurant and bar on a weekly basisReporting back to the finance department regarding restaurant deposits and payments Completing daily cash-ups Responsible for issuing and recording of petty cashOverseeing and training the receptionists & hostesses Hiring of new receptionists and hostesses when necessary Working with the Head Chef to help change menus and keep the website up-to-date once menu changes come into effect Placing orders for the restaurant, menus, stationery, cleaning materials etc. Have strong attention to detail Will be required to work overtime when necessary Always willing to go the extra mile and take on extra challenges Be able to manage and communicate with the team efficiently and effectively Always set an example for the rest of the FOH team Be able to work extremely well under pressure
