District Sales Manager Commercial Vehicles Location: Centurion Preference will be given to BBBEE candidates due to BEE requirementsPosition Overview:A fantastic new opportunity is available for a District Sales Manager in the Commercial Transport Industry at a world class Commercial Vehicle Manufacturing Concern.The key objective will be to sell the companys SA products (Transport Solutions) to Customers in SA, whilst supporting the Dealer network in selling the products in the right application and ensuring profitability of vehicles for perpetual succession.Key Responsibilities include:To take responsibility for compiling a sales strategy and sales plan (sales mix) in order to reach set targets as determined for their area of responsibility in supporting the company business plan;To drive the implementation of the sales plan throughout the Dealer Network;Ensure that regular measurement, corrective action, and feedback are maintained, on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis;Optimize profitability through management of the sales channels and segments;Manage the pipeline activity within Dealers Sales force with customers to support the monthly forecast and target.Role Specific Requirements:Education:Completed degree in sales and or marketingTechnical diploma (preferred)Experience:Minimum of 5 years sales experience, in the truck industry plus minimum of 5 years in a sales management roleKnowledge of sales principlesTechnical product knowledge: Commercial vehiclesLegislation (Compulsory specifications, NRTA, FICA and NCA)Basic Finance and Legal industry knowledgeBudgetary control and cost accounting knowledgeStrategic planning and resource allocationIf you meet all the requirements mentioned above and you are interested to further the process, kindly contact Patricia
