You love selling solutions that help build a greener futureIs this you?You truly enjoy selling solar solutions to clients. You present, promote, and sell solar solutions to residential and commercial markets. You are passionate about establishing and maintaining customer relationships.What youll be doing (and why youll enjoy it)You will be providing complete and appropriate solutions to new and existing customers to help achieve revenue growth and boost customer acquisition levels and profitability. You will present, promote, and sell products within framework and pricing structures, using solid technical and commercial selling skills. You will also be working closely with the technical service team to perform cost-benefit analysis of existing and potential customers to meet their needs.You will be generating new leads and keep these leads warm. To do this you will be tasked to analyse the market potential and continuously approach different industries and segments, from large retailers, installers to distributors. You would need to track your sales and deliver status reports to management when needed. You would also need to stay on top of your customer database with quotes and orders, following up and updating timelines, probability, and progress of projects.Where youll be doing itHead office is based in Cape Town, but you can be based in Johannesburg or Cape Town as your client base will be national.Your new employer designs, plans, procures and ships complete photovoltaic systems as well as single components. Their portfolio covers the whole range of PV technologies, from large commercial projects to power supply for remote rural areas.They boast with more than 25 projects over 35 years experience in the industry nationally and internationally!What youll needA minimum Matric qualification with minimum 2 years external solar PV sales experience with a proven track record. You would need excellent MS Office skills and be familiar with BRM and CRM practices. The ability to maintain productive professional relationships, with strong negotiation skills. The ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the needs of the audience. You will be travelling 75% of the time and you would need a valid drivers license.
