Nature of business:The company is involved in the import and distribution of industrial, "ruggedized" products into AfricaThe company specialises in the support, implementation and provision of network communication backbones for major vertical markets such as Power, Rail, Mining, Marine, CCTV, Solar, Wind and WaterApplicants need a proven track record in the ability and skills to work proactively and independently in an ever-changing fast-paced environmentIndustry Experience Required:Industrial automation industryIndustrial infrastructure solutionsSmart grid applications, such as renewable energy, substation transition and distributionUnderstanding of the engineering backgroundSome understanding of PoE based solutionsSelling, designing, supporting, and implementing the above solutionsMinimum qualifications:Diploma or N+ CourseComputer / IT / Networking backgroundExperience in procurements utilising software (SAP software an advantage)Sound experience in presentations (use of software) and trainingSound understanding of industrial solution, industrial computing, serial connectivity, IP surveillance and remote AutomationUnderstanding of industrial solution, industrial computing, serial connectivity, IP surveillance and remote AutomationConfident and eloquent communication (English)Minimum of 4 years' external sales experience in the industrial automation industryMust be a South African Citizen with ID and valid passportAbility to travel in AfricaJob duties and responsibilities :Quotations (and weekly follow-ups)Liaising with customers (daily)Data capturing into CRM system and InvoicingConduct research (products, updates, customers and industries)Create achievable sales targets and achieve weekly meeting targetsAttend tender meetingsTravel into Africa and grow the African market
