Assistant Actuarial Manager

Qualifications required:Bachelors degree in Actuarial Sciences or similar/relevantMajority of the CT exams completedSkills and Experience required:3 to 5 years experience in General InsurancePricing, capital modelling or valuations experienceIFRS 17 experience is advantageousExperience with ORSAs, valuations and solvency calculations is advantageousStrong actuarial technical skillsStrong communication skillsDeadline drivenJob Description:Calculation and review of technical provisions including IBNR, UPR, AURR, etc.Capital ModellingProduct pricing and design, including working with GLMsReinsurance reviews and optimisationAsset liability modellingExpense analyses and profitability assessmentsDrafting reports and communicationsReporting feedback on progressActuarial assistance and support on IFR17 projectsPerforming market studies and researchMaintain and improve client relationshipsProvide technical advice to General Insurance clientsAssist in preparation for Quality Affairs Committee and attend QAC meetings; take minutes and prepare meeting minutes.Continuously evaluate areas of responsibility and recommend improvements to the processes concentrating on efficiency and quality of the product and/or systems.Ensure Key Performance Indicators measure progress against Quality objectives.Support and facilitate change control processes.
