Sales Representative - Earthmoving Machinery Parts


Description Johannesburg - Our client is the leading supplier of spare parts to the yellow metal industry. We are on the hunt for sales talent with at least 3-4 years relevant experience. You would need to have strong negotiation skills, leadership potential for career progression.Candidates with experience working on and with yellow metal would be seen as most desirable. Main Purpose of the Position :Maintain, develop and grow sales in a defined geographical area or per defined customer list, by visiting customers as well as processing quotes, orders and doing after-sale serviceKey Performance Area :Direct selling to key accounts.Responsible to maintain existing business and grow new and existing business through the pursuit of set sales targets;Fulfil Key Performance Indicators as per Balanced Scorecard;Participate in the development and execution of a strategic plan to advance the company's mission and objectives and to promote all Spare Parts sales revenue, profitability and sustainable growth.Participate and maintain company & branch & BP sales revenue, profitability, and growth as an organization.Identify Plan, develop, and implement marketing strategies for expanding distribution and/or revenues for the company.Develop and maintain or assist in the development & maintenance of a Parts master catalogue.Train and mentor other sales staff on Parts product lines, when required.May be required to approve and drive company operational procedures, policies, and standards at all BPs and branches.Review activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revise objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions.May be required to participate in company planning and policy-making committees i.e. Safety, training, BEE, ISO, etc.Obtain and collate customer input and feed back to management regarding product and service improvements and enhancements relating to all Parts.Utilize, update and manage the Product Performance Tool (dashboard).Other duties as assigned.RequirementsEssential:?Matric with Math;Beneficial:Tertiary qualification from a reputable institution with commerce courses completed such as Sales, Marketing or Business Management.Technical hands on experience with yellow metal equipment.Skills Required:Good understanding of all earthmoving-, parts exchange-, mining- and construction parts.Understanding on how to upgrade machines from competitors product to ours and how extract best value form customer base.Experience in strategic planning and execution.Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.Ability to develop financial plans and manage resources.Ability to analyse and interpret financial data.Knowledge of public relations principles and practices.Knowledge of communication and public relation techniques.Ability to develop and deliver presentations.Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to communicate and interac.special-hidden { display: none; }Id Subtitle
