Output/Core TasksUndertaking ongoing research and prospecting on key account opportunitiesCo-ordinate the contact and contracting for the activation of new key accountsManage and grow a focused portfolio of key accounts Undertake financial education sessions at the key accounts (self and through the team of intermediaries)Manage the Key Account SLA including building effective relationships Manage and report on the performance of the key accountsCo-ordinate, manage, train and vest intermediaries working at these key accountsCollaboration with internal stakeholders i.e., SKY, SPAB, Product houses etc.What will make you successful in this role?Qualification & ExperienceGrade 12, Financial/Business Degree (B.com, Business Science, Legal Degree) CFP designation or Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning would be advantageousExtensive experience within a financial distribution business in a sales/marketing roleManagement (sales team) experience5 years relevant industry experiencePrevious industry management experience will be a strong recommendationThe successful candidate must meet the necessary FAIS requirements ( credits included)Knowledge and SkillsFinancial Services Industry Knowledge Financial Services Product Knowledge (Sanlam and competitors)Legislative compliance processes and practicesService Level Agreements (SLAs)Sales and advice processes/financial planning knowledgeProspecting processesBudgets and expense managementKnowledge of how sales tools / aids could add value with SFAKnowledge of Key Accounts and all other markets and the functioning thereof Marketing and sales principlesKnowledge of specfic value propositions for different marketsPersonal QualitiesAction orientationResults (sales) orientated Structured and organisedImpactful and confidentExcellent relationship building abilitiesGood communication and presentation skillsInfluencing and gaining commitment abilitiesGood supervision, management and coaching abilitiesAble to motivate and energise a team for high performanceResults Driven Flexibility and adaptability The closing date for applications is 13th September .
