This is a key role within a well established consulting engineering company where one will be responsible for the management of the planning, design and construction of government subsidised housing developments and other construction projects from inception to completion. Prepare tender documents. Prepare reports (Project Inception, Concept and Viability, Design, tender evaluation, progress, financial, close-out, etc). Project Manage the planning, design and construction of government subsidised housing developments and other construction projects from inception to completion Utilise ones proven experience in professional multi-disciplinary team/s responsible for the township establishment and environmental authorisation processes related to government subsidised housing projects Utilise ones proven experience in the project management of professional multi-disciplinary team/s responsible for the planning, design and construction of engineering and building projects from inception to completion. Day-to day contract administration and management of housing projects. Provide construction oversight for quality control and expediting of design clarifications. Review of contractors Quality Control Plans and Construction Method Statements. Handle technical queries and resolutions and leading site and technical meetings on site, including taking minutes. Prepare Payment Certificates. Communicate frequently with all professionals and clients. Handle technical queries and dispute resolutions in conjunction with others. Assist with project safety and environmental matters during construction. General office and project related admin if required. Minimum Requirements A bachelors degree in the built environment (Civil/Structural Engineering, Architectural, Construction/Building Management) Registration with SACPCMP as a Professional Construction Project Manager. Registration with ECSA/SACAP will be advantageous but not essential. At least 8 years verifiable post graduate experience in the project management Efficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Office Project. Experience in using Building Information Modelling (BIM) software, in particular BIM Docs, ACC Docs and ACC Build will be advantageous. Must be an effective communicator (personal, phone, writing, email; etc);Own Vehicle Valid Drivers Licence
