Channel Manager

Ramp is a fast growing UK SaaS startup, with founders who have successfully exited businesses in the past and worked on some of the worlds biggest brands, including Candy Crush, PokemonGO, Curve, Monzo to name a few.Traditional revenue forecasting for businesses is broken. Ramp was built out of a pure frustration of using spreadsheets to manually forecast our businesses.We are a SaaS platform that predicts the revenue of B2C companies, giving them the ability to plan better and make decisions in real-timeYour RoleThe Channel Manager is responsible for developing and managing channel sales strategy to achieve sales targets.*Please note that this role is open for recruitment in but we are considering applications now to build up a pipeline.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for building, maintaining and managing the day-to-day relationship of channel partnersAct as a liaison between Ramp and assigned channel partnersAlign channel strategy to complement and enhance Ramp's sales model and meet assigned targetsEstablish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accountsEnsure a high level of compliance with Channel Partner programs and agreementsSupport partners through the entire sales processEnsure partners have up-to-date knowledge of new products, features, roadmap and any other updatesManage channel training and foster excellent communication and relationships between the channel and direct teamsCoordinate the involvement of Ramp personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners expectationsSell through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resourcesInitiate and drive a partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a successful productive partner relationshipBuilds relationships with technology vendors to identify mutual greenfield opportunities with shared partnersRequirementsPrevious experience of driving channel sales ideally within the same product category and channelExperience selling in SaaS and B2B through direct and channel salesDemonstrated ability to develop and execute sales channel development and marketing programs which result in revenue generationExperience managing partner relationships5+ years of experience with B2B sales5+ years selling technology products in assigned territory in a channel modelEffective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships with partners and Ramp teamsStrong personal network within the industryDriven, highly motivated and results driven
