Education:Engineering degree or equivalent Job Experience & Skills Required:Ownership of product technical support at all branches and distributors worldwide.Continuously monitor and improve client and stakeholder product technical support satisfaction.Conduct regular branch and distributor inspections to ensure technical support is done according to the required standards.Accurately report on product technical failures based on factual data.Optimise processes for revenue generated from services outside the warranty period.Make product design recommendations to stakeholders based on client feedback.Liaise with HoD to create a development plan for the department that supports company initiatives and priorities.Liaise with the R&D department to develop product support test equipment.Oversee technical training for the department.In-depth knowledge of electronic and mechanical designsGood understanding of mobile and web-based software development.Assist when necessary with product testing and evaluation.Plan and track department budget in line with company requirements.
