Supply Chain Planner

Overview This position is to drive the S&OP process with each SBS to ensure valid demand plans and achieve optimised inventory levels.QualificationsTertiary Supply Chain qualificationAPICS/SAPICS certification (CPIM, CSCP)Professional membership SAPICS/PMIDDMRP certification (DDPP, DDPL)Experience5 years business experience in a production environment, in a Supply Chain role and prior demand planning experience.Product Portfolio management.Product Lifecycle management, including Product Profitability. Sales and Operations planning (S&OP)DDMRP proficiency.Demand and Supply Planning / Management.Demand / Supply Planning Tools, technology, applications.Master Data Management.Proficient in managing Excel spreadsheets.Microsoft Dynamics AX.Business experience in a Chemicals environment.Business experience in Supply Chain roles other than planning.DutiesData Collection and Analysis: Make authoritative recommendations that have a significant impact on the business over the short and long term. Recommendations could be technical or professional in nature.Data Management : Manages key aspects of the master data management system, including the operational key elements of the system.Supply Chain Management : Achieve specific goals for area of responsibility by working within an established supplier management plan or finding ways to improve it. Stakeholder Engagement: Contribute to internal stakeholder engagement through identifying internal stakeholders, finding out their needs/issues/concern and reacting to these by arranging meetings and events and drafting supporting materials to promote understanding and commitment.Demand Planning: Contribute to the development of annual and longer-term business plans; forecast performance against business key performance indicators; provides input to the development of business cases for key activities/projects.Supply Planning: Execute planning activities for several manufacturing/distribution units with dependencies on other processes/units/suppliers. Provide input to the overall supply planning framework and systems.Performance Management: Prioritise own workflow and ensure work is completed to the required standards of productivity, quality and timeliness; use performance management systems to improve personal performance.
