Youll participate in the strategic implementation of communication activities via social media and translate insights into long-term content themes or campaigns.Reports toHead of EditorialKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain optimal implementation of Superbalist social media strategy, incl setting and reaching annual targetsManage paid social media activities and budget.Social media lead for sponsored content marketing partnerships and reporting.Provide support in social media content planning process alongside community manager, blog editor and all departmental teams to ensure integration of social in business strategies and marketing campaigns.Ensure trafficking of content, campaigns and influencer outreach is done timeously.Identifying and monitoring KPIs to measure success of social media platforms and campaigns to provide qualitative and quantitative reporting.Support brand marketing team and PR in short and long-term Influencer collaboration activities.Research and implement new social media platforms and tools to drive online innovation, reach new audiences and success for social media led campaigns.Become an advocate for the company in social media-related spaces and engaging in dialogues to educate editorial and marketing teams in social media best practices.Present post campaign reports. Key RequirementsTertiary DegreeMinimum 3 years experience managing online communications, including content for major brandsOn trend, a taste for style, local and up to date industry knowledge is a must!Must possess a strong knowledge and true passion for the evolving social media space.Solid understanding of SEO.Ability to analyse metrics, interpret data, and provide reports and recommendations.Superior copy writing skills; clear understanding of how to work with a creative brief.Competent in using social monitoring and scheduling tools.Genuine passion and experience for youth culture including fashion, music, events, people.Passion for the Superbalist brand, digital content and an instinct for creating content with a multi-channel approachKey CompetenciesStrategy: be a part of social media activation proposalsInterest in and aptitude for developing social media and content strategy solutionsProject management: following project & campaign internally but also with external service providers if necessaryExcellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.Highly organised with an analytical mind-set towards problem solvingCommitted and reliable.Superbalistis an Equal Opportunity Employer.
