Job Details Description The intern will gain GIS experience by investigating the most recent ESRI GIS products and capabilities; using GIS products to assist and learn directly from GIS professionals in their daily processes, analysis, and presentation.Qualifications: Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at an accredited College or University.Must be pursuing a degree in Geomatics, Geography, Geology, Environmental Studies, or any related field.Strong written and verbal communication skills in a dynamic environment.Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.Exceptional multitasking and time management skills.Undeveloped Understanding of Geographic Information Systems (GIS).Willing to learn, energetic and proactiveMust be willing to sign an internship agreement. The main roles and responsibilities: Processing existing aerial imagery datasets and extracting data for statistical analyses in photogrammetry packages (e.g. ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, Micro Station).Spatial data collection, cleansing, manipulation and capturing including digitizing.Provide mapping and conservation planning in support of various projects.Perform Spatial Analysis.Provide monthly training progress report.Perform various technical activities in line with training plans.
