Our client requires a competent, empathetic, and qualified individual with project management experience to head up their Social Development Department in Cape Town. Your Competencies include: Excellent Leadership and People Management skills, Technical & Functional (Project Management, Public Safety & Security, Urban Management and Social Development). Humanities and SD rights field.Your direct reports will be the SD Field Workers and you will be reporting to the CEO.Your key Customers are: Tenant (levy-paying) Stakeholders, Vulnerable & Homeless Stakeholders (includes homeless, children, elderly), CoCT.YourMain purpose:To establish and manage projects and programmes that facilitate sustainable SD initiatives that addresses the needs, expectations and Human Rights of Tenant Stakeholders on the one hand and Vulnerable Stakeholders on the other hand within the company mandateKEY ACCOUNTABILITY 1:STRATEGY;leading an integrated and systemic Social Development strategy that supports the Business StrategyKEY ACCOUNTABILITY 2;CORPORATE GOVERNANCE; compliance to the relevant Human & Social Legislation and risks are minimized and mitigatedKEY ACCOUNTABILITY 3:PEOPLE:ensuring that the performance and productivity of SD team is optimisedKEY ACCOUNTABILITY 4:OPERATIONAL EXECUTION: ensure the efficient execution of the SD Strategic initiatives, projects and programmesKEY ACCOUNTABILITY 5:KEY DELIVERY STAKEHOLDER RELATIONSHIPS:the effectiveness and positive impact of key delivery alliances and partnersKEY ACCOUNTABILITY 6:ADMINISTRATION:administrative processes, protocols and requirements are efficiently and accurately dispatched
