Field It Support Technician
An exciting opportunity has opened up at our Gauteng branch for a Support and Services technician! You'll be responsible to assist with hardware problems, removing and replacing faulty equipment, updating documentation and reporting your findings. You'll also provide second-line support telephonically, you should have good communication skills and the ability to conduct yourself well in English. You will also be involved with preventive maintenance and will be working within a specified timeframe, which can be high pressure at times. We want to hear from you if you have at least an A+ & N+ certification as well as relevant IT industry experience. It is our preference for you to have at least 2 years of experience with Hardware, Software and cabling implementation. If you have previous retail and/or POS knowledge along with some MS SQL knowledge, please get in touch. You must have a valid driving license and your own vehicle to be considered for this role as you will be traveling to clients' sites to troubleshoot and resolve reported issues. You should also have a valid passport as a requirement. You should also have the flexibility to work overtime, standby and weekends when required, remember we service the retail industry. *Please note that a criminal check will be done in the last phase of recruitment.
