Process Manager


Primary Responsibilities:Ensure proper and accurate production planningOversight of the production processEnsure production schedule is metEnsure production is cost effectiveMake sure products are produced on time and are of good qualityMonitor the production processes and adjust schedules as neededEnsure optimum use of production resourcesLiaise with technical and maintenance departments to ensure optimal performance of the production functionWork effectively with other 3rd party suppliersWork cross-functionally with team to ensure adherence and achievement of key deliverables.Lead and manage the various teams to produce results in line with expectationsMonitor product standards and implement quality programsImplement and adhere to company policies and proceduresEnsure that health and safety guidelines are followedDevelop and motivate the cost-effective alternatives and improvements to the production processes Maximize the efficiency of production lines and ensuring the effective employment utilizationProblem solving skills and process developmentEnsure continual improvement with overall quality of productLead and manage the productions teams ensuring optimal performanceRecruit, develop, lead and motivate a high performing team.Diversity ManagementPerformance ManagementWorkforce OptimizationTalent and succession planningCross-functional alignmentRequirements of the Role:Bachelors degree in Supply Chain/ EngineeringA minimum of 2 years experience in a process management roleExtensive experience and Knowledge of process/manufacturing operations within FMCG.Experience within Sugar ConfectionaryExtensive knowledge of Manufacturing ProcessesProven track record in a in medium to large size organization. Required Competencies/Skills: Good business sense and a professional manner.Good knowledge of manufacturingDeadline driven, and results orientated.Solid analytical ability as well as process and interpret dataComputer literate (MS Office -focus on Excel / ERP System). Preference given to an Excel superuserGood verbal and written skillsDevelop good working relationships and trust with various teamsGood attention to detail.Excellent planning and organisational skillsStrong leadership and decision making skillsAble to handle work pressure.
