Product Lead: Hootsuite

JOB OVERVIEW Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, you are both a hunter, a farmer, a techie and a people person. Essentially, you're the all-rounder that can take a product line and run with it in totality. Your ability to demonstrate any or all of the following is key: a successful track record in selling SaaS or technology solutions to brands and/or agencies, and/ora history of solutions consulting for technology companies to enterprise brands and/or agencies. The product requiring a Product Lead is: Hootsuite and its affiliated software offerings. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 5+ years of experience in selling, supporting or marketing software solutions, software solutions consulting and/or Key Account ManagementThe ability to pitch and present complex business solutions to the C-Suite of enterprise organisationsExperience in working within social media technology, social, CRM, digital agencies or other marketing solutions environmentsAbility to work effectively with internal teams in sales, pre-sales, client services and marketingIndustry-related experience to recognize the influencers, decision-makers and other stakeholders in the client organisation and articulate our value propositions to align with business objectives JOB DESCRIPTION Manage partner relationships and ensure that YOUKNOW is well-represented Expand the brand of our products to our markets in South Africa and Sub-Saharan AfricaCollaborate with Marketing Team to promote product offerings to our databaseRun regular networking events to showcase your productsCombine a product marketing strategy, with a strong sales mindset to grow your division within the marketBuild business relationships, network and drive the adoption of your product stable in the market, with the view to generating leads and opportunities on a quarterly basisConsult with all inbound leads to see whether your product set, or potentially any other within YOUKNOW, may solve their requirementsDrive the conversion of leads to closed sales through a consultative, solutions-driven approachWork with other account managers and sales team at YOUKNOW to cross-sell your product portfolio to existing clients and opportunitiesBe responsible for a successful handover of all aspects of the deal post-sale to the Customer Success team, which will follow with training, onboarding and after-sale supportAs you grow your market share, recruit and hire team members, as required, to assist with sales and support - based on your product line's revenue achievements and client requirementsWeekly, Monthly and Annual Budgeting and Forecasting of salesMonthly reporting and feedback SOFT SKILLS Structured and strategic approachSelf-drivenOrganisedMotivated and able to work under pressureAbility to organise and prioritise responsibilitiesPassion to educate, consult and sell SALARY STRUCTURE Base salary (to be determined on historical expertise in this space)Commission as percentage of deal GP
