Solar Pv Draughtsperson
You are an AutoCAD boffin; you take pride in your work, and you have a passion for renewable energy! *Is this you?* You are a self-motivated draughtsperson who is passionate about renewable energy. You can work alongside a team of engineers. You pay attention to detail, and you take pride in your work. *What youll be doing (and why youll enjoy it)* You will be using AutoCAD design software to create 2D and 3D technical drawings while liaising with engineers to gather requirements for the designs. You will also be calculating dimensions and material requirements and editing technical draughts based on the recommendations of the project engineers. You will be creating detailed drawings from the engineers designs, this will also include detailing of civil and mechanical components for various projects as well as inverter station/building design and component layouts, solar module layouts and cable routing details to mention a few. *Where youll be doing it* You will be joining a team of draughters and engineers based in Pretoria. You will have the opportunity to work for a leading renewables energy company focusing on the design, implementation and ownership of operational energy assets that lead to sustainability and cleaner production. These projects include technologies in biomass, biogas and solar photovoltaic and the have added waste-to-energy to their portfolio. How cool it that!? *What youll need* You have 2 or more years working experience as a Solar PV draughtsperson / designer with a Matric certificate or a Technical N3 Matric Certificate. A N4 / N5 Multi-Disciplinary Drawing Office Practice (MDDOP) National Certificate.
