AngloAmerican - Project Management Office Specialist AngloAmerican - Project Management Office Specialist:Job SummaryJoin us to manage the Global Shared Services Project Management Office and play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of value to GSS and its business stakeholders through the effective governance of the GSS programme and the effective management of the GSS Governance Board.Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversee all strategic project governance in GSS including planning, GSS resourcing, , risk review and management, progress and outcomes tracking/reporting, stage gating as well as budget managementEstablish an internal GSS programme governance and review body and framework to effectively track project progress, perform stage gate reviews and links into the wider GSS governance forumsReview project planning with a focus on resource planning (and funding), to ensure internal and in-bound projects have the appropriate set-up for success. Maintain a focus on adequate project resourcing through the project lifecycleDevelop and maintain an integrated GSS strategic projects roadmap incorporating all GSS strategic projects and linkages to Global Finance and HR transformation programmes, identifying and tracking inter-dependencies across the roadmapEnsure timely and effective reporting to key GSS, Beyond Finance, Functional and Business stakeholders related to programme performance across the full portfolio of projects.Maintain project reporting in the prescribed functional format (most likely Smartsheets)Develop, implement and maintain an evaluation method to assess project strengths; identify areas for improvement and track execution progressPlanning GSS resourcing requirements for detailed specific change plans, part of Beyond Finance and J2E programmesChallenge and support Project teams risk assessments, implementing mitigation plans and using appropriate standards.Qualifications and Experience-Qualifications:Degree holder ( Business related preferred)English language (written and spoken)PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or equivalent preferredKnowledge and Skills required:Essential: 7+ years of experience in project management, in business projects (rather than just system implementations)Working on large scale, complex initiatives within a Shared Services project environmentExperience in programme management from strategy through to implementationExpert knowledge of corporate governance management, resource deployment management and change managementStrong relationship management involving multiple stakeholder groupings (internal management, legal counsel, external advisors)Must have developed process, procedures and controls documentation for project management officeEssential: experience of working across a global blue-chip business within multi-cultural working environmentExpert knowledge of a project management system such as Smartsheet or similarHow to ApplyClick on the link below to apply View more information
