Software Development Manager: (Epm)


Purpose StatementTo provide strategic, tactical and technical direction to multiple technical teams in order to enable the function to achieve the EPM strategy. To manage the EPM technical and implementation teams in the delivery of EPM solutions (quality and on-time configuration, analysis and solution development and support) aligned to business needs, requirements and standards To drive efficiency, optimisation, innovation and people development across the technology teams. ExperienceMinimum: 5 7 Years experience in developing business Intelligence models and working on Data Integration projects Minimum 2 years in a supervisory capacity Experience in leading implementations using the full Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for an EPM team Experience in IT including experience in implementing an EPM solutions Experience in managing medium to large scale projects Building and maintaining relationships across all levels of the organisation Ideal: 7+ years of experience in developing business Intelligence models and working on Data Integration projects Board Solution design, development and architecture experience Experienced in Microsoft SQL Integration Services or similar technologies Qualifications (Minimum)Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or Information Technology - Computer ScienceQualifications (Ideal or Preferred)Honours Degree in Commerce or Information Technology - Computer ScienceKnowledgeMinimum: Understanding ETL Business Warehousing and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions Advanced knowledge on integration practices, technical IT systems development processes (SDLC) Understanding of SAP Testing practices andResource scheduling In-depth understanding of the following methodologies:Agile,Relational & NoSQL Database Design,Cloud architecture andplatforms (Azure, AWS) Ideal: ERP Solution,Jira Core,Confluence Advanced knowledge and understanding of Data Warehousing / EPM Methodologies ITIL Principles and the application thereof Understanding of:Microsoft MDSor equivalent solutions,Board,Banking systems Best practices for Quality Assurance (QA) SkillsCommunications SkillsDecision making skillsManagement skillsInterpersonal & Relationship management SkillsProblem solving skillsCompetenciesDeciding and Initiating ActionLeading and SupervisingWorking with PeopleRelating and NetworkingLearning and ResearchingPlanning and OrganisingDelivering Results and Meeting Customer ExpectationsCoping with Pressures and Setbacks
