Application Support Specialist


ResponsibilitiesPerform troubleshooting and technical support to our users telephonically, via email, service desk tickets, and Microsoft TeamsIdentify, track, escalate, resolve, and report internal & external customer queries, ensuring POPIA compliance is adhered toImplement defined standards, processes, and daily activities maintaining customer satisfaction requirementsSupport business units in identifying, tracking, and updating systems, business processes and data flowsIdentify and report IT risks associated with data privacy complianceTest and implement new modules and enhancementsAssist with project tasks and deploymentsIdentify, test, and liaise with OneTrust team in resolving application issuesExperienceRelated IT qualification (Minimum Certificate or Diploma)Minimum of 3 years IT experience in an application support environmentExperience using support ticketing tools such as JIRA or 4me service managementExperience using Microsoft products such as Office Knowledge of POPIA (The Protection of Personal Information Act)Skills and attributesAbility to learn rapidly, adapt, and master the OneTrust data privacy platformAbility to work independently and as a team memberProactive and results orientedOrganised and diligentGood business acumen, with excellent written and verbal communication skillsLogical thinker with solid problem-solving abilityWorks well under pressureConfident, with excellent customer relations skills
