Finance Manager


Agricultural client based in Gqeberha/Port Elizabeth seeking a Finance Manager who will oversee the financial operations of the company with the goal of maintaining the financial health of the organization. Oversee all the financial operations of the organisation, including accounting, financial reporting, tax, business control and treasury.Responsibilities:Finance ManagementCollating, preparing, and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries, and financial statementsCreate invoices immediately after payroll is completedSubmit invoices to clients timeouslyTrack and match invoice payments timeouslyPrepare debtors reconciliationManage and maintain debtors' days at 30 daysKeep record of all documentsManage Petty Cash and prepare petty cash reconciliationMaintain record of purchases and record payments of purchasesBudgeting and cash flow managementDaily, weekly, and monthly profit and loss analysis and reportingData Investment decisionMaintain Asset registersUnderwriting and risk managementAdministrationManaging accounting practices across the organisationUndertaking research into pricing, competitors and factors affecting performanceMaintain all accounting systems/programmes subscriptions and updatesReview financial and legal documentation to verify accuracy and adherence to financial regulations and acceptable financial principlesHandling additional duties form time to timeStaff ManagementManage and support financial/bookkeeping staff and day to day operationsparticipates in the execution of changes to procedures, policies and systems to facilitate expansion, compliance and scaling of the businessProvide leadership management to the financial departmentProvide financial strategy recommendations to CEO and executive teamHuman ResourcesAssisting with other HR projects as and when requested for the smooth flow of office systemsSupport HR in drafting contracts, letters and HR policies if and when requiredDeveloping and managing financial systems/modelsSeating in the interviews as observerConducting interviewsCalculating and checking overtimeLeave administrationAttending CCMA hearingsRequirements:Bachelor's degree and 5 years working experienceProficient with Microsoft packageDeveloping and managing financial systems/modelsFinancial managementResult-drivenStrong negotiation skillsExpert communication skillsFlexibility and adaptability
