Lead and manage the HRD function. To ensure the effective implementation of policies andsystems aligned to the organisational strategic imperatives and relevant legal requirements. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:Diploma/Degree in HR or HRD field (NQF 6/7)HR or HRD post-graduate qualification is desirable5yrs Relevant experience in middle Management (HR/HRD)Mining operational experience in trainingKnowledge of relevant legislation (Mining Charter, Skills Development, MHSA, BBBEE)Knowledge in change management, leadership & supervisory developmentKnowledge of the development of company policies, HRD strategy and proceduresKnowledge of MQA accreditation requirementsKnowledge of Education, Training and Development methodologiesGeneral HR and OD knowledgeKEY COMPETENCIESAnalytical skillCommunication and Interpersonal skillsStrategic Management skillPeople management skillPresentation and report-writing skillsInnovative skillDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Align HRD with the organisational strategic objectives to ensure that the Business Plan imperatives areachievedEnsure legislative compliance as per relevant legislation e.g. MHSAEnsure the delivery of quality and effective training in so doing maintain HRD accreditation and certificationEnsure Impalas business plan imperatives are carried out as per plan and SLP targets set out in Section 2 ofthe MPRDA.Analyse and assess training effectiveness to determine when revision and enhancements of processes shouldoccur
