Purpose of the Role: The SEO Strategist will join the SEO department to drive the development and delivery of an SEO growth strategy across multiple brands and countries, based on the departments overall strategy. The role is focused on gathering search trends and insights to inform new, high-quality content and content refreshes, optimising on-page elements as well as taking part in longer term planning to shape the teams strategy across SEO for the future. Youll be working alongside Leads, Managers, and strategists in an experienced team with your own brands and countries to focus on and advocate for. You will be responsible for the creation, optimisation, overseeing of implementation and performance analysis for your allocated brands, helping govern overall strategy and ensuring that performance targets are reached. You will need to deliver regular reports, actionable insight, strategies and deliverables to clients and internal stakeholders, showing SEO results, highlighting key trends and offering suggestions for continued improvement. The perfect candidate will be passionate about iGaming and have a real understanding of how to direct traffic in the iGaming industry. Duties will include, but not limited to: Providing opportunity analysis gaps and keyword research to identify strategic decisions on content Create quarterly roadmaps / SEO strategies that the SEO teams executes on, working with SEO Leads Define objectives and KPIs for SEO Strategies and deliver reporting to measure success Use data insights to develop new strategic SEO projects, to gauge strategy impact and effectiveness Liaise with all key stakeholders and gain alignment on planned strategies Perform research and analysis of competitors, marketplace, latest industry and SEO trends Writing business cases, forecasting traffic/revenue impact of changes and championing changes through to completion Contribute to the overall SEO strategy Provide SEO strategy, consultancy and guidance to your brands Contributing to in-depth, actionable strategic roadmaps to achieve each brand's goals Measure and analyse the success of SEO strategies and tactics and present learnings and recommendations for future campaigns Team-wide Expectations: Share knowledge derived from projects and research with fellow team members; coach and develop other members of the team Report SEO KPI performance back to the business and explaining reasons for growth or decline including outcome of actions taken and development actions required Take time to properly learn topics and deliverable processes to enhance work rate without compromising quality Stay up to date on market trends and relevant industry news to suggest new SEO projects based on objectives, and past performance Raise issues, opportunities and competitor insights obtained from utilising tools such as Screaming Frog, SEMrush and GSC Promote SEO awareness and best practice across the organization including educating business stakeholders Liaise with internal stakeholders and build effective working relationships Manage expectations on delivery of work, accurately estimate deadlines and know when to ask for help Develop expertise in using SEO tools EG Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Majestic, Screaming Frog Identifying and sharing growth opportunities to increase ranking and traffic to the site Detailed understanding of ranking and financial reports based on specific projects with the ability to provide one liner updates when required Contributing ideas to help develop and grow the SEO team Collaboration with external departments and teams including translations, creative studio, external content suppliers, acquisition Dev and QA Analyzing SEO performance and determining how to make changes to content to best optimize performance Be accountable for the performance of your projects Essential Criteria: Advanced knowledge of Excel, graphs, and formulas Previous experience and knowledge in Digital Marketing and SEO Website development understanding and a working knowledge of basic HTML Demonstrates consistent behaviour aligned to the Combiinedf and Organizational Culture Minimum 3 years of SEO experience Working knowledge of ranking & financial reports and systems Able to perform Onsite and visual QCs Experience with Content Management Systems (such as WordPress) Understanding of Google Analytics and Search Console Experience with SEMRush/Ahrefs/Data Studio/Screaming Frog Desirable Criteria: Relevant qualification Project management experience Training experience Personal Specifications: Analytical Initiative Innovation Problem Solving Ownership and Accountability Decision Making Planning and Organisation Interpersonal Skills Communication Motivation Bottom Line Focus Adaptable *Please note we will apply relevance to our Talent Management and Talent Development Programme as part of our recruitment process. *Shortlisted candidates may need to complete an assessment.
