Manufacturing Engineering Technology & CI ManagerA 4-year bachelors degree in Engineering Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial (Mechatronics)4 Years progressive engineering and IE experience in automotive manufacturing industry at similar level.Trained as a Black-Belt Six-Sigma advantageousExperience in leading teams or project implementations, solving quality related (defect) problems.Demonstrated ability to drive data-based change throughout the organization.Excellent leadership skills and analytical ability.Very good English plus another European language would be an added advantage.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.Understanding of business processes, practices, concepts, and product knowledgeGood organizational knowledgeExcellent leadership skills, direct work groups and small teams toward completion of assigned projectsVery good project management skillsSelf-starter, open minded, goal oriented, team playerDrive for data-based change and continuous improvement of current standardsGood communication and presentation skillsCapacity to teach and transfer the knowledgeTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Inventory software, order processing systems and Manufacturing software.MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Minitab Statistical Software.Duties and Responsibilities: METReviews production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan department operations.Plans production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.Prepares operational schedules and co-ordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications.Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum cots and prevent operational delays.Inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards.Cost estimating for new products / drive ongoing cost reduction effort.Compiles, stores, and retrieves production data.Development of process flows and FMEAs.Develop improvements to existing production process.Lead and manages launches of new products / processes within the plantEnsures EMSEC requirements on new equipment and all required documentation to Tenneco standardsReport and ensure FTT targets are achieved and countermeasures implemented if requiredEnsures the successful implementation and management of the PE maturity modelResponsible for the acquisition of equipment and installation of processes for production to ensure reliable and capable operationsEssential Duties and Responsibilities: CIComplete and implement 4 Lean / Kaizen events per yearSustain knowledge transfer through training & coachingConduct regular Process Excellence meeting and monthly project presentation to the OPS Team.Ensure on time reporting of Lean performance.Focus on achieving savings as per AOPOrganize and conduct TMS training for all applicable people in the plant.Track A3 submissions and presentations with applicable coaching.Information:Trading Hours:Monday Friday09:00 16:00Address:We are currently working remotely.
