Junior Financial Controller
Job Duties/Responsibilities will include:Ensure that tight controls are implemented, monitored, and maintained Implement processes to identify main cost drivers and work with the management team to reduce costs and increase efficiencies Ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded to the relevant general ledger codes and reconciled according to required standards, within the correct entities. Review management accounts before submission to Senior Management and Directors Analysing the profitability of the serviced entities with the Operations Finance Manager and Group Financial Manager Dealing with internal and external stakeholders Suppliers, Customers, Banks, Credit Bureaus, and other 3rd party institutions Drive continuous improvement and assist in the implementation of new systems and processes where required Address any issues that are not being attended to with the management of the categories Forecast cashflow projections daily and monthly Assessing international and local payments based on cashflow projections. Compiling the necessary reports for Senior Management and Directors Assist with solution orientated suggestions for interdepartmental challenges All other tasks and related duties as expected from the employer from time to timeCandidate Requirements/ Experience:Tertiary qualification in accounting or finance NQF level 7 or higher CIMA, CA or equivalent will be advantageous 3 Years experience in a similar role Experience with working on multiple accounts software suites and ERP systems Advanced Excel skills required Proven track record on managing a large and diverse book Team management and leadership experience required Experience in managing the operational and logistics aspects of multiple entities advantageous Experience in managing the financial aspects of multiple entities advantageous Experience in FMCG will be advantageous A no nonsense business approach Resilience, assertiveness and willing to handle conflict Ability to handle pressure Exemplary time management skills Ability to work independently with high level input from senior management Strong interpersonal skills in getting diverse individuals to work together Individual needs to set high standard and have a high attention to detail Needs to run with projects and implement decisions.
